Injury update on Karleigh

16 February 2016

Defender facing lay-off after scan

Neal Ardley said that Karleigh Osborne is unlikely to play again during the run-in after an MRI scan on his injured knee.

Experienced centre-back Osborne, who has made 25 appearances this season since joining on loan from Bristol City, suffered the injury in training last Thursday and missed the 4-1 victory against Luton Town on Saturday.

Neal Ardley said: “Karleigh’s MRI scan has shown some extra damage on top of the initial prognosis. Unfortunately, the injury is worse than we first anticipated and it looks like he will not play during the run-in. He needs to have another MRI scan in three weeks to confirm the extent of the damage. Karleigh had hit a great run of form before suffering the injury and all our hearts go out to him at this time.”

All at AFC Wimbledon wish Karleigh a speedy recovery.
