FA Youth Cup versus Hull at the Cherry Red Records Stadium

Under-18s manager Mark Robinson has called on Dons supporters to help the club’s young talents repeat last season’s fantastic achievement in the FA Youth Cup.

The young Dons take on Hull City tonight (7.00 pm kick-off) at the Cherry Red Records Stadium with a last-16 place in the national competition up for grabs.

Big clubs including Manchester United and Arsenal are already out of the competition and this season’s young crop have an opportunity to face Everton or Preston North End away in the next round.

If successful tonight, Wimbledon will be in the last-16 of the competition for a second successive season.

Mark Robinson said: “If we could get a good crowd it would be fantastic. It is so important for the development of the players. It drives them on and gives us a bigger chance of winning. I had a lot of fans coming up to me after the North Greenford and Bristol Rovers games; they were saying how much they enjoyed it and asking about certain players. I see no reason why we cannot do it again.”

AFC Wimbledon's squad for tonight is as follows: Joe Bursik, Tom Scott, Sean Bird, Paul Kalambayi, Toby Sibbick, Antonio Walker, Anthony Hartigan, Judah Chapman, Nathan Wood, Reece Williams-Bowers, Jayden Antwi, Nick Akoto, Callum Phillip, Tino Carpene, Ethan Nelson-Roberts, Edward Ogbebor-Onaiwu.

Admission prices for tonight are £5 for adults with free entry for Under-18s. The bar will be open from 5.30 pm with the club shop also open from 6.00 pm.
